Childhood is full of moments that don't seem particularly important at the time.
Muddy hands. Bedtime stories. Little collections of treasures. The way they still reach for your hand. The everyday routines that somehow become the things you miss most.
I photograph those moments.
In my approach as a family photographer, I'm not looking for perfect poses - I'm looking for real connection. My sessions are relaxed, child-led and centred around preserving what this season of family life truly feels like.

I'm a photographer and a home educating mum, and home education has changed the way I see childhood.
Without the rush of a traditional school routine, I've become much more aware of how much learning, growing and discovering happens in the everyday.
A walk becomes an adventure.
A question becomes an afternoon of exploring.
A muddy puddle becomes an experiment.
It's this slower, more curious way of looking at childhood that has shaped the way I photograph families and natural newborn sessions.

I believe these photographs belong first and foremost to the families they're created for.
